Welcome to Lourdes Campus

The Lourdes Campus is unique to Michigan in providing a wide and diverse range of care to meet the needs of seniors. With four dedicated facilities in harmony on a naturally beautiful site, The Lourdes Campus, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Detroit and administered by the Dominican Sisters of Oxford, strives to meet the goal of our mission statement to:

"…dedicate itself to bringing to the ill and aged, regardless of religion or race, a human wholeness by serving as an extension of Christ's mission of healing while following His examples and teachings. The community of persons who minister on the Campus are committed to Gospel values and strive to provide a human wholeness recognizing the uniqueness of each person with compassion, love, respect, and dignity."

Set on 36 beautifully landscaped acres in Oakland County, Lourdes Campus is nestled in the heart of nature. Two Michigan Governor Care Awards honor our Campus: Clausen Manor in 1997 and Lourdes Nursing Home in 2001. Each year our facilities pass our state surveys with flying colors and in 2003 Lourdes Nursing Home received a perfect survey with zero citations. We are proud to say that Lourdes Campus has been a beacon of quality senior health care in Michigan since 1965.

Fox Manor

Set on a beautifully landscaped site, Fox Manor offers spacious one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and barrier free apartments. In an atmosphere of warmth, Residents are encouraged and supported to remain independent. The pleasant apartments offer the Resident security without the burdens associated with home ownership. Opened in 1991, Fox Manor has over a decade of experience in serving and caring for healthy seniors.

Mendelson Home

The Lourdes Campus offers a new level of care at the Mendelson Home for Assisted Living. This licensed home for the aged provides a bridge between the independent apartments of Fox Manor and the skilled nursing care offered at Lourdes Nursing Home. With available assistance with all activities of daily living, the Mendelson Home strives to recognize the dignity of all persons and responds to their needs with respect.

Lourdes Nursing Home

" For almost forty years, Lourdes Nursing Home has been providing skilled nursing services to the elderly in Oakland County and beyond. As one of the top 10 nursing homes in Michigan, Lourdes received the 2001 "Governor's Care Award", a state wide award program that recognizes outstanding state-licensed day care homes and centers, nursing homes, hospices, homes for the aged and adult foster care facilities. This honor reflects Lourdes mission statement to "strive to bring to the sick and aged a human wholeness and a community of persons dedicated to the Gospel values" - a goal Lourdes Nursing Home has met since 1965.

Clausen Manor

Opened in 1995, Clausen Manor offers a secure, homelike atmosphere for those who suffer with Alzheimers and related dementia. With an open activities area as a focal point surrounded by Residents rooms, Clausen Manor provides a non-institutional environment and an alternative living situation that promotes independence.
