Assisted Living Assisted living at The Oaks is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance to do so. Basic Services include: 3 nutritious meals served daily 24-hour specially-trained on-site staff Engaging activities Apartment maintenance Weekly housekeeping and linen service Scheduled transportation All utilities paid (phone and cable may not be included) Emergency call systems in each apartment Modern fire detection systems Personal Assistance Services In addition to the Basic Services, additional levels of Personal Assistance are available and tailored to meet each resident's specific needs. Residents will be assessed prior to move-in and regularly thereafter, to determine which level of care is needed. Additional charges apply based on the Personal Assistance services provided. Pets are loyal and lovable, and offer us unconditional devotion. They bring out our instincts for nurturing; we feel needed and relied upon. Our stress levels decrease, we feel accepted just as we are with no judgments. It is often one of the most valued relationships a person can have. While we as individuals may feel a variety of emotions, pets don’t have mood swings or meltdowns. They allow us to hold, stroke, groom, or just play with them, and are very good listeners! For most pet owners, the relaxation our animals provide us by just being there as our friend, enriches our daily life and allows us to go on with the tasks of living. Rental Information Apartments are rented on a monthly basis. No buy-in or lease fees are required. Our apartments are fully carpeted, with individual climate control and emergency call systems. At The Oaks, you will enjoy the privacy of your own individual apartment within a community of care and support.
