The spacious apartments are carpeted and feature large accessible bathrooms. Each apartment has its own kitchenette, emergency call system, and individualized climate control systems. The building has such amenities as a large, elegant dining room, living room, activity room, library, TV lounge, beauty salon and barber shop. Our specially-trained staff is on-site 24-hours a day for your care, comfort and security. The resident care team, together with the resident, determines the services that provide the appropriate level of assistance while promoting optimal independence. Neawanna by the Sea Assisted Living Community offers a variety of services. Basic Services offered to all Neawanna by the Sea residents include: 24-hour on-site staff Three nutritious meals daily Life enhancing activities Coordination of health resources Base level assistance with activities of daily living Weekly housekeeping Apartment maintenance All utilities (except telephone) Monitoring of resident's health status Our goal at Neawanna by the Sea is to meet each resident's needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy, respect, and individuality. To assure that this is done effectively, an assessment is conducted prior to move-in. Residents, family members, and Neawanna by the Sea staff work together to develop an individually-tailored Assistance Plan. A follow-up family care conference will be held regularly to assure that, as a resident's needs change, the Assistance Plan is adjusted accordingly. In addition to Basic Services, Neawanna by the Sea offers Personal Assistance Plans for those who need additional help with their daily routines.
