Our goal at King's Manor is to meet each resident's individual needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy and respect -- all in a homelike atmosphere. Regularly scheduled outings to nearby shopping, restaurants, local events and attractions make King's Manor an ideal retirement and assisted living choice. All apartments are fully carpeted with individual climate control, kitchenette, and emergency call systems. At King's Manor, you will enjoy the privacy of your own individual apartment within a community of care and support. A few of the wonderful things about King's Manor are: Rents are month to month (there are no buy-in fees). Each apartment is a private unit. The spacious apartments are carpeted and feature large accessible bathrooms. Each apartment has its own kitchenette, emergency call system, and individualized climate control systems. The building has such amenities as a large, elegant dining room, living room, activity room, library, TV lounge, beauty salon and barber shop. Our specially-trained staff is on-site 24-hours a day for your care, comfort and security. The resident care team, together with the resident, determines the services that provide the appropriate level of assistance while promoting optimal independence. Assisted Living Assisted living at King's Manor is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance to do so. Basic Services include: 3 nutritious meals served daily 24-hour specially-trained on-site staff Engaging activities Apartment maintenance Weekly housekeeping and linen service Scheduled transportation All utilities paid (except telephone) Personal Assistance Services Our goal at King's Manor Assisted Living Community is to meet each resident's needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy, respect, and individuality. To assure that this is done effectively, an assessment is conducted prior to move-in. Residents, family members, and King's Manor staff work together to develop an individually-tailored Assistance Plan. A follow-up family care conference will be held regularly to assure that, as a resident's needs change, the Assistance Plan is adjusted accordingly. In addition to Basic Services, King's Manor Assisted Living Community offers Personal Assistance Plans for those who need additional help with their daily routines. Some of these services include: Select diets or snacks Daily assistance with ADL's Assistance with ambulation to and from meals and activities Incontinence care Additional housekeeping services Medication management: monitoring, supervision, or assistance Safety and security checks Meal time reminders Resident fund accounting Medical appointment scheduling Periodic nighttime care Select diabetic care Health services: monitoring, supervision, or assistance King's Manor Assisted Living Community in Tacoma offers a full range of services for each of our deluxe studio and one-bedroom suites.
