Our goal at Hawthorne Gardens Senior Living in Portland, Oregon is to meet each resident's individual needs while maintaining the highest level of choice, dignity, privacy, and respect--all in a homelike atmosphere. Assisted Living Hawthorne Gardens Senior Living offers a full range of services for each of our apartments. Rented on a monthly basis, our apartments are fully carpeted, with individual climate control and emergency call systems. No buy-in or lease fees are required. The monthly rent includes all Basic Services. Basic Services include: Delicious meals served daily Specially-trained on-site staff Engaging activities Household maintenance Housekeeping and linen service Scheduled transportation All utilities paid (phone and cable may not be included) Emergency call systems in each apartment Modern fire detection systems Personal Assistance Services In addition to the Basic Services, additional levels of Personal Assistance are available and tailored to meet each resident's specific needs. Additional charges apply based on the Personal Assistance services provided. Individualized care plan Mealtime reminders Escort assistance to and from meals and activities Additional housekeeping services Personal laundry service Assistance with medication management Health services: monitoring, supervision, or assistance Select diets or snacks Select diabetic care Assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming Incontinence care Medical appointment scheduling Scheduled nighttime checks The Importance of Pets We all know how important pets are to our lives. Because we value the time-tested connection people have with their pets, we invite you to have your small pet live with you at our community. We want you to smile, laugh, and feel good! We accept most small pets, and have minimal deposit requirements to make the necessary accommodations. Welcome home - to you, and your pet! Memory Care Our Life Engagement programs are developed around each person's specific interests, abilities, past history and routine. Engagements flow throughout each day to promote cognitive, sensory, creative and physical skills. Our intent is to allow each resident to function independently at their level of ability, while providing care and assistance where needed.
