Our programs are open to all. For Outpatient Medical Care Our Hirsh Health Center offers physician services, therapy appointments and more. For Independent Retirement Living: Two rental apartment communities, Revitz House and Ring House, provide supportive services and amenities to active seniors who want independence, companionship and convenience. In the heart of Rockville, both communities offer meal service, 24-hour front desk coverage, activities and trips, social work services, easy access to medical care, and numerous on-site amenities. Revitz House is an affordable HUD-subsidized senior housing community of one-bedroom apartments: Evening meals (kosher) Transportation to shopping and events Emergency call system Convenience store, beauty shop, snack shop, library Ring House is a gracious residence with studios, one- and 2-bedroom apartments: Breakfast and evening meals(kosher) Transportation to shopping and cultural events Personal Emergency Response System Fitness center, beauty shop, snack shop, library, computer center, card rooms Housekeeping On-site physicians and adult day care Many apartments offered at below-market rates to financially-qualified individuals When A Little More Support Will Help: Seniors who need the additional care offered in assisted living will appreciate the private apartments and levels of care at our newest residence, Landow House: Licensed assisted living program Three meals daily Help with bathing, dressing and personal care Weekly apartment cleaning and laundry service Medication monitoring or administration Customized activities When Your Goal Is To Recover and Return Home: Adults of every age --including many younger patients --take advantage of short-stay services to recover as quickly as possible from accidents, illness or joint-replacement surgery at our Rakusin Rehabilitation Center. Skilled physical, occupational and speech-language therapists at the Hebrew Home, working with state-of-the art equipment, have a proven track record in helping patients achieve significant functional improvement. There are even specialized programs in swallowing therapy (FEES). An apartment in the therapy suite provides a realistic setting for practicing and relearning skills. A separate floor dedicated to rehabilitation; majority of accommodations are private. Short-stay patients may take advantage of our full range of services while they are at the Home, including beauty parlor, computer access, and convenient location. When Reassuring 24-Hour Care Becomes Necessary: Families feeling overwhelmed by care demands can find 24-hour care and peace of mind at the Smith-Kogod and Wasserman Residences of the Hebrew Home, where a full range of nursing home services is available, including on-staff full-time physicians, therapy, social work, and more. Specialized care is available in secure Alzheimer's/dementia care, in palliative care, and for Russian-speaking seniors.
