Services and Amenities As a Belmont Village resident, you will receive many personal services that are provided for your comfort and well-being. The following services and amenities are provided as part of your monthly rent: Three delicious chef-prepared meals served restaurant-style daily in Josephine's Kitchen Regular monitoring of residents' wellness and health assessments Senior-focused social, recreational, educational and gardening activities 24-hour emergency call response system Scheduled transportation to nearby shops, physicians' offices or special events Weekly housekeeping Weekly laundering of bed linens and personal laundry Daily trash removal and bed-making All utilities Cable TV programming Local telephone service Personal Care for Individual Needs Belmont's personal care philosophy is designed to provide individualized support as residents' needs change. A simple assessment and review will provide the resident and family with a recommended level of support. Personal care services are available to make residents' lives more comfortable, including: Licensed nurse on-site Assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming and dressing Medication management Incontinence management Wellness checks Circle of Friends memory support Short stays available Well-trained, Responsive Staff Belmont Village staff serves our residents 24 hours/day, seven days a week. At the heart of our support program is a Personal Assistance Liaison, or PAL, who builds a special supporting relationship with residents to anticipate individual needs. All management and staff members receive the benefit of rigorous orientation and training at the community's state-of-the-art Center for Learning. The result is an exemplary level of service for residents. Person-Centered LivingŪ for Alzheimer's Residents Belmont Village provides individually tailored programs for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory impairment. Based on extensive research by experts who have received support from the National Institutes of Health for their studies of Alzheimer's disease, our program is founded on the understanding of dementia disorders and a recognition of the individuality of people with dementia. Through a proprietary program we call Person-Centered LivingŪ, we spend time getting to know the individual likes and dislikes of each resident with dementia. Highly personalized programs are developed for each of our residents - programs centered on routine, structure, and the abilities of each individual. Our dementia residents can then participate in meaningful activities that not only engage the individual, but also maintain dignity and comfort. The changing needs of each resident are carefully assessed by a knowledgeable staff specially trained in dementia care. Belmont Village provides the following support for the comfort and security of dementia residents: A separate, secured neighborhood within our community. Private rooms with a private bath. Structured days including activities tailored to individual abilities.
